Akshay Ravikumar has worked for a variety of companies since 2013. Akshay began as a Research Intern at Stanford University in 2013. In 2015, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern for Akamai Technologies and embedUR systems. Akshay then worked as a Software Engineering Intern for Google in 2016, where they implemented a distributed image processing module to increase the robustness of automated testing on the Android App Streaming team. Akshay then worked as a Software Engineering Intern for Two Sigma in 2017, where they built an application to streamline the development and deployment of realtime analytics dashboards. In 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer at Rubrik, Inc., where they worked on support, performance, stability, and feature development for the SQL Server backup team. In 2020, they worked as a Software Engineer at rideOS, where they built really cool features (internal tools, performance optimizations, benchmarking systems, partner features) on the routing team. Currently, they are a Marketing Lead, Product Lead, and Founding Engineer at schoolhouse.world.
Akshay Ravikumar attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2018. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 2018 and a Masters of Engineering in Computer Science in 2017.
