John Southworth

John Southworth is an experienced professional in the education sector, currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Wild Search since March 2024 and as a Member of the Board of Directors at SchoolTV since February 2023. Previously, John held multiple leadership roles within the Independent Schools Association, including Chair and Vice Chair, and was a member of the ISA Executive Council and Chair of the Finance Committee. John has also been Principal at Mander Portman Woodward Limited and Lansdowne College, overseeing operations and curriculum for both institutions. In earlier roles, John directed co-curricular activities and marketing at The Perse School and coordinated training matters as a Training Major in the Royal Artillery, following a distinguished military career. John holds an MSc in Electronics and Guided Weapons from Cranfield University and a BSc(Hons) in Engineering from the University of Leicester.
