Marco van der Velde Agia

Marco van der Velde CPA AGIA has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Marco van der most recently worked as Head of Finance & Controlling at MiniFAB starting in November 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Whelan Kartaway Pty Ltd from February 2019 to August 2020. Marco also ventured into entrepreneurship as an entrepreneur at Visayan Ventures from January 2018 to January 2019.

Before their entrepreneurial venture, Marco held significant roles at various companies. Marco van der served as Finance Director Australia at Hertel from June 2013 to April 2017. Prior to that, they were the Group Manager Financial Planning & Analysis at Hertel from September 2011 to May 2013. Marco also worked as the Manager Financial Accounting & Business Control at Eurosa from September 2009 to August 2011.

Marco van der'sprevious experience includes working as the Group Financial Controller at RR Donnelley from October 2006 to June 2009 and as the Commercial Finance Manager at VodafoneZiggo from January 2003 to September 2006.

Marco's career began as a Financial Auditor at KPMG Nederland, where they worked from September 1997 to December 2002. Throughout their career, Marco has gained expertise in financial management, controlling, business planning, and auditing.

Marco van der Velde CPA AGIA has a strong education background in the field of accountancy and corporate governance. Marco van der completed the CPA Australia Program in 2016 and obtained a Post-graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance from the Governance Institute of Australia in the same year. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science (Msc) degree in Accountancy & Controlling from Nyenrode Business University between 2002 and 2004. Marco van der also holds a Bachelor of Science (BsC) degree in Nivra Accountancy from the Royal Netherlands Institute of Chartered Accountants, which they completed from 1999 to 2002. In addition to these qualifications, they obtained a certification in Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn in August 2020.
