Matthew Tanton

Matthew Tanton has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Matthew started their career as an Academy Performance Analyst at Brentford Football Club from July 2015 to August 2016. Matthew then joined Kubrick Group as a Big Data Analyst & Engineer in May 2017 and stayed with them until October 2019. During their time at Kubrick Group, they underwent training in the latest technologies and gained experience in solving data challenges. Most recently, Matthew has been working at Schroders since October 2019, initially as a Data Engineer, and currently as a Principal Data Engineer.

Matthew Tanton holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Sport Performance Analysis from Middlesex University, which they completed from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Sports Science from the University of Brighton, from 2012 to 2015. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including the Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals and Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals from Microsoft in 2022 and 2021 respectively. Furthermore, they achieved the Tableau Desktop 10 Qualified Associate certification from Tableau Software in 2017.
