Stuart Sowter

Stuart Sowter is currently the Deputy Head of Client Risk and Control at Schroders, a position held since January 2019. Previously, Stuart held various roles at Sucden Financial Limited, including Head of Operations, where responsibilities included managing seven teams overseeing LME Matching, Client Service, FX Operations, and more. Extensive experience in operations management has been demonstrated across several companies, including Lloyds Banking Group and Morgan Stanley, with a focus on structured products and operational risk management. Early career experience includes roles at Republic National Bank of New York and Barclays Investment Bank, covering derivatives and trading assistance roles. Stuart possesses product exposure in metals, energy, financials, and foreign exchange, among others.
