Shaoxian Sun

Shaoxian Sun is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in biopharmaceutical research and development, currently serving as Executive Director at Schrödinger since January 2020, previously holding titles such as Senior Director and Research Leader. Prior experience includes serving as Associate Director at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals and in various leadership roles at Pfizer, where responsibilities encompassed managing drug discovery projects in Immuno-Oncology, conducting translational biomarker studies, and overseeing research projects from target validation to clinical candidate development. Shaoxian Sun's career began at DuPont Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Research Scientist and included a postdoctoral fellowship at Albert Einstein College, culminating in a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from The University of Kansas.
