Harshala Shivkumar currently works as a Research Assistant at FDA, focusing on the survival of Listeria monocytogenes in refrigerated hard-boiled egg-based-deli-salads. Additionally, Harshala has experience as a Quality Assurance/Food Technologist at Schulze and Burch Biscuit Co. and as a Research and Development Intern at Stroma Biotechnologies PVT ltd. Harshala has also interned at NK Namagiri Consultancy in the field of Quality Assurance. Harshala holds a Master of Science in Food Safety and Technology from Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology from Ramaiah Institute Of Technology.
