Chris Dizon

Chris Dizon, P. Eng., is a skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in protection and automation engineering. Currently serving as Engineering Supervisor and Project Engineer III at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories since July 2022, Chris excels in leading and mentoring junior engineers, ensuring high-quality project deliverables. Previously, Chris worked at ATCO Electric from October 2013 to June 2022, where responsibilities included designing protective settings for relays, drafting electrical drawings, and managing project risks. Chris began the engineering career with roles focused on risk management and performance engineering, gaining foundational experience at Penn West as an Engineering Summer Student. Currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Electric Power Engineering at the University of Waterloo, Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary.
