Hector Collazo

Hector Collazo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in manufacturing and engineering management. Currently serving as Senior Factory Manager at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories since June 2017, Hector oversees operations at the Cabibet Factory, managing a team of 80 employees while ensuring positive financial trends. Prior roles include Operations Manager at GAMA Gabinetes y Manufacturas de San Luis, where Hector achieved financial and quality goals, and as Head of Mechanical Engineering and Design Engineering at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories and DRÄXLMAIER Group, respectively, leading teams in product cost analysis and engineering design. Hector began his career with hands-on experience as a Manufacturing Engineer at Zoppas Industries and an intern at Metalsa, contributing to process improvements and cost savings. Hector holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from ITSLP, completed in 2005.
