Jacob Hall

Jacob Hall is a Protection Specialist II at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL), where employment began in June 2022, following a progression from Protection Specialist I. Prior experience includes a role as an Electrical Testing Technician at Systems Control from September 2019 to November 2021, focusing on electrical testing and quality checks of protective relay panels and substation equipment. Jacob also completed an Electrical Engineering Internship at Eagle Mine in the summer of 2019, gaining experience in industrial instrumentation and controls, as well as vendor coordination for power equipment installations. Additionally, as a Distribution Engineering Intern at Upper Peninsula Power Company in the summer of 2018, Jacob contributed to the design of utility standards and engaged in field data collection related to distribution automation. Jacob holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Northern Michigan University, earned in May 2022.
