Alain Gabler

Alain Gabler has extensive experience in the field of economics, currently serving as an Advisor to the Chairman of the Governing Board at the Schweizerische Nationalbank since June 2011, and previously holding positions as Head of International Policy Analysis and Senior Economist within the organization. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor at Université Laval from 2008 to 2011 and as a Postdoctoral researcher at Université de Toulouse from 2007 to 2008. Alain Gabler earned a Ph.D. in Economics from the European University Institute (2003-2007) and completed an European Doctoral Program in Quantitative Economics at the Paris School of Economics (2005-2006). Additional qualifications include an M.Sc. in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (2002-2003), an Erasmus exchange at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (2001-2002), and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Université de Lausanne (1998-2002).
