Martin Nieto

Martin Nieto is a seasoned professional with over three decades of experience in the chemical and mining industries. Currently serving as a Technical Account Manager for North America at SciDev since November 2022, Martin manages technical aspects related to mining and construction chemicals. Prior to this role, Martin worked at BASF from May 2012 to November 2022, where responsibilities included managing customer accounts for alumina refineries in the US and Jamaica, alongside sales and technical support. Earlier in the career, Martin served as a Process Engineering Technician at Alcoa from February 1990 to May 2011, focusing on the Bayer Process, managing the technical laboratory, and conducting laboratory testing of process chemicals. Martin holds an education from Texas State Technical College Harlingen, completed between 1986 and 1990.
