Owen Hewlett

Owen Hewlett currently serves as a Technical Council Member at the Science Based Targets initiative since March 2023. With extensive experience in sustainability and project management, Owen has held the position of Chief Technical Officer at The Gold Standard Foundation since October 2011, also working as Global Programme Manager and Vice Chair (Energy) of the Technical Advisory Committee. Prior roles include Associate at AECOM from November 2011 to October 2014, Senior Programme Manager for Carbon Project Development at co2balance, and Project Manager at Davis Langdon. Earlier experience includes Graduate Manager at Ian Williams Ltd. Owen holds a Master's degree in Geographical Sciences from the University of Bristol, completed in 2004.
