Ariadna Álvarez Pérez-Simó

Ariadna Álvarez Pérez-Simó has over 14 years of experience in various roles related to science education and content production.

From 2013 to the present, Álvarez has worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Science Bits, where they lead the development of multimedia science lessons for secondary school students.

Prior to that, from 2007 to 2012, they worked at Digital-Text as a Product Manager, overseeing the production of content for primary and secondary school textbooks. In this role, they coordinated a team of up to 80 people.

Before joining Digital-Text, Álvarez served as a Science Editor at Omnis cellula from 2007 to 2010, and as a Scriptwriter and Producer for the popular science show Redes on Televisión Española from 2005 to 2007.

Throughout their career, Álvarez has demonstrated a passion for science education and a commitment to creating engaging and accessible learning materials for students.

Ariadna Álvarez Pérez-Simó earned a Master's Degree in Scientific, Medical, and Environmental Communication from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, which they completed in 2006. Prior to that, they obtained another Master's Degree, a Pedagogical Aptitude Certificate, from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2005. Ariadna'sundergraduate studies at the same university resulted in a Degree in Biology, which they completed in 2004.
