Head of Growth at Science Card

Daniel Sale has a diverse work experience in various marketing roles. Daniel started their career in 2008 at Investec as the Head of Digital Marketing, where they successfully facilitated the shift from postal to online-only banking. In 2014, they joined the National Bank of Abu Dhabi as the Head of Digital Marketing, building a comprehensive digital platform and brand across multiple territories.

In 2017, Daniel joined Telr as the Head of Marketing & Experience, where they doubled lead volumes and conversion rates while significantly reducing the cost per acquisition. Daniel also established a Client Experience capability.

Following their time at Telr, Daniel worked at Wirex as the Head of Marketing APAC, focusing on developing a market-entry strategy for the Asia Pacific region and supporting the company's ICO. Daniel successfully raised $7 million and achieved a successful APAC launch resulting in a significant acquisition.

From 2019 to 2020, Daniel served as the Head of Marketing at Ixaris, where they transformed the company's brand identity and implemented new marketing strategies to support high-touch ABM and channel partner marketing.

Subsequently, they joined Cigna as a Digital Marketing specialist, leading the launch of the Cigna Body & Mind app and driving sustainable engagement and lead generation through content and interaction.

In 2021, Daniel worked at Ziglu as the Marketing Director, successfully building a strong marketing and communications capability, driving rapid growth, and supporting a successful Series A funding round.

Daniel then joined AQRU as the Marketing Director in 2022, where they oversaw marketing strategies to drive growth. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Growth at Science Card, where they continue to contribute their expertise.

Daniel Sale has a diverse education history. Daniel completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Chinese Studies at Durham University from 1992 to 1996. In 1993 and 1994, they also attended Renmin University of China, although the degree and field of study are unspecified. Later, in 2002, they pursued the UMIST Diploma in Management Studies (Financial Services) at The University of Manchester. Furthermore, Daniel earned the Level 3 Certificate in Investments (Securities) from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) in January 2006. Lastly, there is no information available regarding their educational background before college.
