Josh Izaac

Josh Izaac is an accomplished Director of Product and Head of Quantum Software at Xanadu, where a significant achievement includes architecting a cloud platform that established the first public quantum photonic cloud service. With extensive experience in academia, Josh has served as a Freelance Science Writer for both Science Magazine and Australian Geographic since 2016 and 2015, respectively. Prior roles include Academic Tutor at The University of Western Australia, focusing on Computational Physics and quantum computation, as well as a Subject Specialist Tutor for mathematics and sciences at Tutoring Australasia. Josh holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics and a Bachelor's Degree in Physics and Applied Mathematics, both from The University of Western Australia.
