Eric Nguyen

Eric Nguyen has held various roles throughout their work experience. Eric started in 2006 as a Bookseller at Books A Million and later became a Wellness Team Member at MOM's Organic Market. In 2009, they interned at the National Center for Transgender Equality. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Grassroots Coordinator, Humanist Society Coordinator, Executive Assistant, and LGBTHC Manager at the American Humanist Association. In 2011, they joined the Lambda Literary Foundation as a Social Media Manager, a position they held until 2018. In 2012, they became a Graduate Assistant and Editor at McNeese State University. From 2013 to 2020, they worked at the Diasporic Vietnamese Artists Network (DVAN), serving as Contributing Writer, Reviews Editor, and eventually Editor In Chief of diaCRITICS. Additionally, they had a Marketing & Communications Internship at Americans for the Arts in 2014. Eric then transitioned to the Society for Science, where they held various roles including Social Media Specialist, Social Media Manager, and currently serves as the Director of Social Media & Speechwriter.

Eric Nguyen completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology at the University of Maryland from 2006 to 2009. Eric then pursued further education, earning a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Creative Writing from McNeese State University between 2012 and 2015.
