Associate Specialist at Society for Science

Jade O. is an Associate Specialist for Science Education Programs at the Society for Science, beginning in February 2023. Previously, Jade O. served as an Advocacy Fellow at the Fund for Global Health from August 2021 to August 2023, focusing on improving public health in developing countries through advocacy efforts. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at New Mexico State University in the Department of Entomology, Plant Pathology and Weed Science from October 2019 to May 2021, and as a Center Administrator at EducationUSA from October 2017 to July 2019. Jade O. is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Development Practice at Emory University, following a Data Analytics Apprenticeship through COOP Careers, and has obtained a Professional Certificate in Grant Writing from Temple University. Jade O. holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from New Mexico State University.
