Steve Mayzak

Steve Mayzak currently serves as the Global Managing Director of Search AI at Elastic, having transitioned into this role in October 2023 to lead a team focused on maximizing the benefits of Elasticsearch, a widely used Vector Database. Prior to this, Steve held several notable positions, including AI & Search GTM Specialist at Sciencesheet since December 2019 and Head of Go to Market at mpathic, where efforts were directed towards developing empathy skills through innovative products. Additional experience includes advisory roles at mpathic and Tecton, along with leadership positions such as VP of Global Solution Engineering and Field CTO at Elastic, where contributions were made towards enhancing the value of data through Search. Steve’s earlier career includes significant roles at Pivotal Inc., SpringSource, and VMware, emphasizing cloud technologies and application modernization. Educational background includes attendance at University High School from 1992 to 1996.
