Geneviève de Messières

Geneviève de Messières is a skilled professional in astronomy education and outreach, currently serving as Lead of the Earth to Sky Partnership at Science Systems and Applications, Inc. (SSAI) since May 2019, where coordination involves connecting park rangers and place-based communicators with NASA Earth and space science. Additionally, Geneviève has been an Astronomy in Chile Educator Ambassador with the National Science Foundation since June 2016. Previous experience includes managing the astronomy education program at the Smithsonian Institution's National Air and Space Museum and supporting public programs at the Phoebe Waterman Haas Public Observatory. Academic qualifications include a PhD and MS in Astronomy from the University of Virginia and a BA in Astrophysics from Swarthmore College.
