Steven Tran

Steven Tran is an accomplished Aerospace Engineer and Research Scientist with a Ph.D. in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Since joining Science and Technology Corporation (STC) in January 2017, Steven has engaged in collaborative projects with the U.S. In previous roles at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Steven served as a Graduate Research Assistant, focusing on developing advanced numerical techniques for high-fidelity simulations of turbulent flows, particularly through a novel subgrid-scale model for large eddy simulation. Additionally, Steven contributed as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, where instruction spanned across multiple classes and included personalized student support. Educational background includes dual Bachelor's degrees in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering, obtained from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
