Lisa Charlton Ph.D.

Lisa Charlton, PhD, MBA has worked in various roles throughout their career. Lisa is currently serving as the VP of Global Product Development at Science 37 since April 2023. Prior to this, they were the Senior Director of Product Development, eCOA at Science 37 from May 2021 to April 2023.

Before joining Science 37, Lisa worked at Medrio as the Product Manager of Participant Engagement, ePro and eConsent from June 2020 to May 2021. Lisa also served as the Customer Success Manager at Medrio from May 2019 to June 2020.

Lisa has a strong background in the healthcare industry, having worked at ERT for several years. At ERT, they held positions such as Team Lead from September 2016 to May 2019, Clinical Solution Specialist from March 2015 to September 2016, Consulting Proposal Specialist from May 2013 to March 2015, and Clinical Solution Specialist (duration unspecified) in 2014-2015.

Lisa started their career in academia, working as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Pittsburgh Center for HIV Protein Interactions from May 2009 to April 2013. Lisa also served as a Lecturer and Lab Manager at the University of North Carolina from August 2007 to May 2009, and held the position of GAANN Teaching Fellow from August 2007 to May 2008.

Lisa's academic journey began with their roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from August 2002 to May 2008. Lisa also worked as a Personal Tutor and Teaching Assistant during this time.

Lisa Charlton has a robust educational background, with a focus on biology and chemistry. Lisa earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Biology from Westminster College (PA) from 1998 to 2002. Lisa then pursued further studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they obtained a Ph.D in Biological Chemistry from 2002 to 2008. To expand their expertise, they enrolled at Point Park University from 2015 to 2017 and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
