Ameet Gadvi

Ameet Gadvi has a diverse background in software development and engineering. Ameet started their career at NTT DATA Corporation in 2007, where they worked as a software developer and was involved in the complete Business Intelligence Life cycle. Ameet used Oracle Warehouse Builder and PL/SQL programming to create mappings and generate reports for a large Telecommunication service provider, resulting in a significant increase in client revenue.

In 2009, Ameet had an internship at NetApp as a SAN HOST Intern, gaining experience in storage area networks.

From 2010 to 2014, they worked at NetApp as a Software Engineer, taking on roles in both the NetApp Software Defined Fabric Infrastructure team and the SAN Integration/Interoperability team. Ameet was responsible for software development in C, specifically working on the networking stack and adding new features to the Clustered ONTAP operating system. Ameet also led a small team, mentored new college graduates, and conducted root cause detection and failure analysis in complex multi-hop SAN fabrics.

Since 2018, Ameet has been working at ScienceLogic as a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Lead. In this role, they focus on technical and team leadership. Ameet builds and maintains highly scalable python packages for data collection, manipulation, pruning, trending, and analytics.

Ameet Gadvi completed a Bachelor's degree in Information Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University in 2007. Later, in 2010, Ameet earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from Clemson University. Ameet also obtained a certification in Blockchain Essentials from IBM in 2017.
