Michel Bouchaert

Michel Bouchaert is an experienced professional in the fields of social and cooperative economy, currently serving as President of UES Initiatives et Cite since July 2023, where responsibilities include the facilitation of the PTCE and the development of a social innovation incubator. As the manager of the SCOP ExtraCité since February 2010, Michel oversees a cooperative with 15 employees and 14 associates, while also providing consultancy services in responsible economic development. Michel Bouchaert is actively involved in higher education, delivering courses on social economy and cooperative practices at institutions such as Sciences Po Lille, IAE Lille, and Université de Lille. Additionally, Michel holds a position on the board of the Union régional des SCOP HDF and possesses a Doctorate in Political Science from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology.
