Bob Martin

Bob Martin is the current Director of Hardware Engineering at Sciens Innovations. Bob has been in the engineering field for over 25 years. Bob started their career as an Electrical Engineer with EG&G Washington Analytical Services from September 1992 to May 1995. Bob then became a Senior Test Engineer and Design Engineer with Lockheed Martin Commercial Space Systems from May 1995 to October 1998. Afterwards, Bob became a Senior Design Engineer with Orbital Sciences - Fairchild Defense from December 1998 to September 2000. In September 2000, Bob started working as a Senior Design Engineer for APCOM, which was later acquired by L-3 Communications. Bob worked there until June 2003 when they became a Principal Firmware Engineer for DRS Technologies, Inc. Bob worked with DRS Technologies until March 2011 when they became a Senior Engineer for a US Government Contractor. In January 2012, Bob started working as a Senior FPGA/DSP Engineer for Data Design Corporation and then moved to Geon Technologies, LLC in August 2012 where they became the Principal Hardware Systems Engineer. Bob has been with their current employer, Sciens Innovations, since May 2020 where they are the Director of Hardware Engineering.

Bob Martin has a MS in Electrical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
