Nienke Schutte

Nienke Schutte is currently serving as the Head of Unit for the EU Health Information System at Sciensano, where she leads projects facilitating the exchange of health information across Europe. Prior to this role, she worked as a Researcher in the EU health information system unit, focusing on projects related to COVID-19 and chronic disease services. With a background in neuroscience and psychology, Nienke has also held positions in medical genetics, public health research, and as a PhD candidate at VU University Amsterdam. Additionally, she has served as the Chair of ProVU, representing all PhDs and Postdocs at the university.
