Pierre Smith

Pierre Smith is an accomplished Public Health Scientist at Sciensano, focusing on the long COVID implications through the COVIMPACT project since June 2021. As a Scientific Collaborator at the Institute of Health and Society (IRSS-UCLouvain) since September 2017, Pierre contributes to significant research projects, including RESPOND and Covid and I, while also pursuing a PhD in Public Health centered on the economic and social integration of people with severe mental illness. Serving as a Lecturer at Haute Ecole Léonard de Vinci since September 2019, Pierre teaches various subjects including mental health policies and research methodology. Previous roles include Consultant Researcher for the European Commission and Research Assistant at Université Catholique de Louvain, as well as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at CHU Brugmann university hospital.
