Jon Francis

Jon Francis is an experienced leader in the drilling technology sector with a robust background in manufacturing, operations management, and engineering. Currently serving as the Manager of HALO Rotary Steerable R&M at Scientific Drilling, Jon excels in improving processes and tool design for enhanced performance and reliability. Previously, in the role of Director of Operations at Abaco Drilling Technologies, Jon implemented structural improvements and cost-saving measures in rotor/stator manufacturing. Jon's extensive experience also includes mechanical engineering consultancy and various leadership roles at Scientific Drilling, where responsibilities spanned strategic planning, manufacturing, and field operations. Jon holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
