Amber Caldwell

Solutions Lead - Human Wellbeing at sciGaia

Amber Caldwell has a range of work experience in various roles. Amber worked as a Solutions Lead at sciGaia, where they led initiatives addressing the impact of COVID-19 and conducted impact assessments. Amber also founded Connect2Impact, where they provided consultation and worked with social impact initiatives for positive change. Amber served as Acting Executive Director at New Transitions Center and as Director of Outreach Development at UCSF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, where they implemented cost-saving initiatives. Additionally, they were the Executive Director at the Institute for Global Orthopaedics & Traumatology, where they were responsible for vision, strategic growth, grant writing, and establishing international affiliations.

Amber Caldwell's education history begins in 2000 when they attended UC Santa Barbara. Amber obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Global and International Studies in 2004. In 2011, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Global Health Policy at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London, which they completed in 2015. More recently, in 2022 and 2023, Amber participated in the Real LIFE Program, where they obtained a Level-UP Facilitation Certification with a focus on Integral Theory, Group Facilitation, Conflict Resolution, and DEI.
