Oliver Fleetwood

Oliver Fleetwood currently serves as the Head of Data Science & AI at Scila, where responsibilities include embedding advanced intelligence across the product portfolio. Prior to this role, Oliver held the position of CTO and Founding Engineer at IONLACE, focusing on protein design using AI. As a Co-founder and CTO of Alex Therapeutics, Oliver successfully built a team, secured partnerships with major pharmaceutical companies including Pfizer, and advanced products through clinical trials while raising significant capital. Oliver's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Theoretical Computational Biophysics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, with research involving molecular dynamics simulations and machine learning, alongside a Master of Science in Theoretical Physics and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics. Early professional experiences include software development roles at Scila AB and Prepaird, as well as a master’s thesis publication on multiphysics problems with COMSOL, Inc.
