Gilda Villaseñor has an extensive work history spanning over two decades. Gilda began their career in 1999 as a Field Engineer for Alstom at Adecco, where they assisted in completing various projects for Transportacion Ferroviaria Mexicana (TFM). Gilda then joined Alstom Signaling Inc. in 2001 as an Application Engineer, where they improved team efficiency and developed tools and procedures to maintain and troubleshoot replicated databases.
In 2004, Gilda moved to Softtek, where they held multiple roles, including Software Developer, Database Developer, Business Analyst at GE Comfin, Process Manager, and ITIS Quality Leader. During their time at Softtek, they gained experience in quality leadership, process management, and business analysis.
Gilda joined Scio Consulting in 2008 as a Quality Assurance Manager, overseeing the QA and testing processes for the Purple web platform. Gilda also implemented Agile Development strategies and collaborated with cross-functional teams to deliver high customer satisfaction.
From 2011 to 2013, Gilda worked as an Independent Consultant, focusing on improving small business operations through training programs and implementing process improvement procedures. Gilda also provided services in web development and communication through digital media.
In 2013, Gilda returned to Scio as a QA Manager, Product Owner, and Project Manager, where they gained customer trust for new engagements and improved product quality by establishing an automated regression suite.
Most recently, in 2019, Gilda joined Calenda Tech as an Ecommerce Consultant, helping businesses expand their sales channels and developing e-commerce services, particularly in the creation of online stores using Shopify.

Gilda Villaseñor holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Tecnológico de Monterrey, which they obtained from 2012 to 2015. Prior to their postgraduate studies, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Systems Engineering from the same institution between 1994 and 1998. In addition to their formal education, Gilda has obtained several certifications throughout their career.
