Joshua Steele has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Joshua started their career as a US Census Enumerator in 2010 and later worked as a Residential Advocate at Transition Projects from November 2011 to April 2014. Joshua then moved on to work at Albertina Kerr, initially as an Operations Manager for Kerr Bikes from March 2010 to October 2014, and later as a Payroll and A/P Supervisor from September 2014 to September 2015. In 2015, they joined Scion Staffing as an Accountant and progressed to the role of Finance and Business Operations Manager from July 2017 to September 2019. Joshua then served as the Director of Finance and Business Operations from September 2019 to October 2021. Currently, Joshua holds the position of Managing Director, Operations and Finance at Scion Staffing, where they oversee business operations related to finance, accounting, payroll, taxes, compliance, human resources, technology, team development, and vendor relationships. Joshua also serves as the Diversity and Inclusion Co-Chair. Throughout their career, Joshua has prioritized championing internal teams, temporary associates, and clients while promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Joshua Steele (he/him) earned their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Portland State University - School of Business from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Associate of Science degree at Portland Community College from 2010 to 2012. In 2007, Joshua attended the University of Cincinnati, where they pursued a field of study in Applied Science.
