Ben Benone has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Ben started their career at Intel in 2000 as a Software Developer and Statistical Analyst, where they developed software tools and utilized data mining capabilities for forecasting and problem analysis. Afterward, Ben joined Lockheed Martin in 2003 as a Software Engineer, working on flight test projects for the C-130, C-5, and F-22A aircraft. At Lockheed Martin, they developed software algorithms for processing digital signal streams and transmitting data from on-board sensors during test flights. In 2005, Ben moved to SciShield and took on the role of Director of Applications until 2011. During this time, they played a significant role in application development and management. Later, they were promoted to the position of Chief Technology Officer at SciShield in 2011, where they continue to contribute to the company's technological advancements.

Ben Benone obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, and Mathematics from Virginia Tech. Ben furthered their education at the Virginia Tech - Pamplin College of Business from 2002 to 2004, where they earned their MBA with a focus on Management and Entrepreneurship.
