Karl DeBisschop

Karl DeBisschop's work experience includes being a Senior Engineer at SciShield since August 2017. Prior to that, they worked at Infoplease/Family Education Network/Pearson/Sandbox Networks as a Web Development Manager from August 1998 to May 2017. Before that, they were a Hydrogeologist at Raytheon Engineers and Constructors, and then at Metcalf & Eddy.

Karl DeBisschop obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1983 to 1987. Prior to that, they attended Holy Cross High School but did not earn a degree or specify a field of study. In terms of additional certifications, they completed the COPE Director certification from the Boy Scouts of America in June 2017, as well as Wilderness First Aid from SOLO in March 2017. Karl also obtained several course certificates, including "A Beginner's Guide to Irrational Behavior" from Coursera Course Certificates, "Cryptography I" from Coursera Course Certificates, and "The Science of Everyday Thinking" from edX. Additionally, they completed the Wood Badge certification from the Boy Scouts of America and completed the course "Your Body in the World: Adapting to Your Next Big Adventure" from Stanford University, although the specific months and years for these certifications are unknown.
