Michael Eggertson

Michael Eggertson has extensive work experience in various roles and industries.

Michael began their career at the University of Calgary as a Postdoctoral Fellow from an unspecified start date until 2006.

In 2008, Eggertson joined Waters Corporation as a Senior Research Chemist, where they worked until 2014. Michael then transitioned to the role of Principal Research Chemist in the Systems Design group, leading electronics and software development efforts. This included demonstrating proof of concepts for next generation instrumentation architecture, utilizing the ARM Cortex-M platform and a distributed architecture with a CAN network for real-time data exchange. Eggertson held this role until 2021.

In 2021, Eggertson joined Scitara Corporation as a Principal Developer, and in 2022, they transitioned into the role of Product Owner, SaaS, where they currently work.

Michael Eggertson earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Chemistry from The University of Winnipeg, where they attended from 1995 to 1999. Michael then pursued further education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Washington, completing their studies from 2000 to 2004.
