Jon Mcnamara

Jon McNamara is a seasoned landscape architect with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as Principal Landscape Architect at SCJ Alliance and SCJ Studio since January 2021. Previously, Jon was Director of Landscape Architecture at BCRA from September 2016 to January 2021, where responsibilities included overseeing projects, collaborating across disciplines, mentoring staff, and managing proposals and quality assurance. Jon also owned Bin 41, a specialty retail wine shop and wine bar, from February 2010 to January 2019, and held senior associate roles at The Portico Group and Weisman Design Group. Jon's early career included a position as a Landscape Designer at DLA, Inc. and participation in the ULI Seattle Young Leaders Group. Jon earned a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1993 to 1997.
