Dries Vos

Dries Vos is an experienced project engineer currently working at SCK CEN on the myrrha project focusing on target facilities since May 2021. Prior to this role, Vos spent over a decade at VITO, where responsibilities included the technical design, construction, and exploitation of geothermal plant surface installations as a project engineer. Additional roles at VITO involved researching thermal energy systems, including waste heat valorisation, geothermal energy utilization, district heating networks, and datacenter cooling techniques, as well as studies on renewable energy subsidy mechanisms. Dries Vos holds a Master's degree in Engineering from KU Leuven and an Industrial Engineering degree in Electromechanics from Groep T - Internationale Hogeschool Leuven.
