Jens Heylen

Jens Heylen is a process integration engineer at SCK CEN since January 2024, contributing to the Minerva Design & Build phase 1 of the MYRRHA project. Previously, Jens served as a senior project engineer and project engineer in electrical, instrumentation, and CAE at EQUANS BeLux from April 2014 to December 2023. Earlier experiences include an internship focused on developing an automatic charging system for electric vehicles at Kenniscentrum Energie, a bachelor thesis internship at Umicore related to Osisoft PI Datalink and PI ProcessBook, and an internship in general electrical works at Loos Elektriciteitswerken. Jens holds a Master of Science in Industrial Sciences: Energy from KU Leuven and a Bachelor of Science in Electrotechnics from Thomas More University of Applied Sciences.
