CJ Wild

CJ Wild is currently the Head of Engineering and Head of IT at Scoop. CJ has over 10 years of experience in the engineering and IT field, with a focus on DevOps and SRE. CJ has a strong background in organizational restructuring, recruitment, and capacity planning.

Wild began their career at Cruise, where they were a Manager of DevOps and SRE. CJ was responsible for transitioning the team to a SRE model and implementing Scrumban. CJ also managed a team of Data Centre engineers with accountability for multiple geographically distributed Data centres.

In June 2019, they left Cruise to join Scoop Technologies, Inc. as their Senior Manager of Platform Engineering and Head of IT. In this role, they were responsible for building a roadmap and a technical vision to partner with the product vision. CJ also led an engineering and product wide Agile and Scrum transition. In addition to their engineering responsibilities, they also took on the role of Head of IT with responsibility for office buildout, budget management and policy setting.

In November 2020, they were promoted to their current role as Head of Engineering and Head of IT. In this role, they are responsible for leading the engineering team and overseeing all IT functions for the company. CJ has also led the company through a SOC2 Type2 audit and a migration to Jira.

CJ Wild earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The Open University. They also attended the University of Lincoln. They have various certifications from Coursera, Scrum Alliance, QA Ltd, SAP, and Asda.
