Ethan Sletteland

Ethan Sletteland has diverse work experience in software engineering and development roles. Ethan is currently serving as a Senior Full Stack Engineer and Team Lead at Scoot. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Chairish, where they upgraded the company's frontend and implemented new features to support its expansion into Canada and Europe.

Before joining Chairish, Ethan worked at Concentric Sky, Inc. as a Software Engineer. In this role, they worked on various projects utilizing technologies like Angular, React, and Scala.js. Ethan also took ownership of projects from design to client handoff, including the LRNG online learning platform.

Earlier in their career, Ethan worked as a Lead Frontend Engineer and Lead App Developer at InterVision Media, where they played a pivotal role in modernizing the company's tools and upscaling the frontend development process. Ethan also introduced Unity and Javascript engines for game development and led the expansion into native mobile app development.

Ethan's work experience also includes a role as a Software Engineer and Systems Administrator at Nerds On Call Computer Repair. During this time, they conducted the transition from a Windows platform to Red Hat Fedora, designed and maintained various software systems including customer management, point of sale, and geolocation applications, and managed MySQL infrastructure for company growth from two stores to thirteen in Northern California, Oregon, and Washington.
