Gilles Van de Sompel

Gilles Van de Sompel has held various roles in the technology and design industry. In 2021, they began working as Senior Product Manager for Create at Scope AR, where they are responsible for the short and long term vision for strategy, technology and design. From 2010 to 2021, they held various roles at Dassault Systèmes 3DEXCITE, including Manager, Manager Print Team, Technical Director, Consultant, Lead Artist, Realtime 3D Artist and Process Specialist. From 2005 to 2009, they were the Owner of their own business, Gilles Van de Sompel. Gilles also held roles at 4-id Network as a Transport Designer from 2009 to 2010, and at Vero Design as a 2D/3D Generalist from 2007 to 2009.

Gilles Van de Sompel obtained a Master's Degree in Product Development from the University of Antwerp between 2004 and 2009. Additionally, in November 2021, they obtained a certification in Product Management from General Assembly.
