Sam Spencer has nearly 20 years of work experience in various training, development, and change management roles. Sam'smost recent position is as the Learning & Engagement Systems Lead at Scope (Aust), where they are responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of learning and engagement systems. Prior to this, they worked at Bupa as the Capability, Learning & Development Manager, Customer Service, where they developed and delivered professional development programs for customer service leaders and team members. Sam has also held roles at The Australian Red Cross Blood Service, Accenture, Telstra, Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing, Queensland Rail National, Nickel West, and Telstra Learning Academy. In these roles, they led teams, developed training programs, managed change initiatives, and implemented new systems.

- Sam attended St. Leonards College from 1990 to 1996.
- Sam pursued a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Commerce degree in Psychology & Management at Monash University, completing it in the year 2000.
- In 2014, Sam obtained a certification in "A Beginner's Guide to Irrational Behavior" from Coursera.
- Sam is currently pursuing a certification in "Digital Delivery with Agile" from RMIT University, with an expected completion date of 2022.
