Emma Etherington is currently a Co-Founder & Engineering at Scope3. Emma has also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Waybridge from November 2020 to January 2022 and as a Software Engineer II at Xandr from October 2018 to November 2020. Emma's experience includes owning and maintaining high performance distributed systems transmitting all configuration data for all business objects from MariaDB backend to Real-Time Platform applications serving production advertisement traffic. Emma has also helped to develop an application to detect change data through database binlog-streaming and has worked to optimize and improve data delivery, including providing tooling for users to interact with our data streams. Emma has experience in project management through design, development, and release phases of systems and is heavily involved with Women in Technology, diversity recruitment, GWC outreach, and Technology Learning & Growth. Prior to their work at Xandr, Emma was a Software Engineer at AppNexus from July 2018 to October 2018 and a Software Engineer Intern at AppNexus from July 2017 to August 2017.

Emma Etherington has a degree in computer science from Columbia Engineering and a degree in systems engineering from The Chapin School.
