Workforce Strategy Lead at Scope

Zane McKenzie has a range of work experience in the disability services sector. Zane began their career in 2005 as a Project Officer at Leisure Networks, where they worked until 2008. In 2013, they joined Scope (Aust) as a Community Educator, responsible for coordinating and facilitating various programs and delivering training sessions. In 2018, Zane transitioned into the role of Customer Engagement Manager, focusing on increasing customer engagement and improving customer voice mechanisms. In 2022, they became the Customer Partnership Lead at Scope (Aust) and was responsible for connecting customers to participation opportunities and contributing to the development of the customer participation framework. Zane has also held the roles of Disability Recruitment Workstream Lead and Workforce Strategy Lead, demonstrating their expertise in strategy and recruitment.

Zane McKenzie completed their VCE (Victorian Certificate of Education) at Oberon High School from 1997 to 2000. Zane then pursued various training programs, including the Level 2 Coach Accreditation Program at the AFL Coaches Association in 2001, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) - Easy English Training at Scope Aust. Ltd in 2018, and Talking Mats Training at Scope Aust. Ltd- Communication & Inclusion Resource Centre. Most recently, in 2022, they participated in the Scope Aust. Developing Leaders Program as part of the 2022 cohort, focusing on Organizational Leadership.
