Sylvain Gauden

Sylvain GAUDEN is an experienced professional in the marine and energy underwriting sectors, currently serving as Chief Underwriting Officer for Marine & Energy at SCOR since April 2015, overseeing a global line book worth €350 million. Previously, Sylvain held key roles at AXA Corporate Solutions, including Director and Chief Underwriting Officer for Marine Hull, managing a portfolio of $140 million and a team of 20 underwriters. Sylvain has also demonstrated technical expertise as a Marine Technical Advisor and Vessel Superintendent, with early career experience as a Chief Mate and Chief Engineer.
