Nick Incardone is currently a Front End Developer at SBLive Sports. Prior to that, they spent four years as a Senior Software Engineer at The Home Depot, where they were named 2016 Employee of the Year for Store Operations Software.

As a Senior Software Engineer at The Home Depot, Nick led the development for the store returns system, which handles $11 billion worth of returns per year. Nick also led the redesign of the system, moving away from 2000 store boxes (with legacy Tomcat containers) into a centralized cloud architecture. In addition, they supported 20+ store mobile applications, including legacy applications in Backbone.js and newer ones in Angular.

Nick also took over the Tomcat Java project with weekly war room calls and architected and implemented safeguards to prevent system failures.
