Moidin Mohiuddin

Moidin Mohiuddin's work experience includes various positions in reputable companies and organizations. In 2018, they became a Member of the Board of Trustees at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) in Oman. Prior to that, starting in 2014, they co-founded and served as the Chief Technology Officer at ScoreData Corporation, where they developed the technical strategy and machine learning algorithms for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and natural language processing. Moidin was also responsible for creating an intellectual property portfolio for the company. In the same year, they briefly held the position of CTO at Integnology. Before their time at ScoreData Corporation, Moidin worked at IBM Research for a significant portion of their career. Moidin'sroles at IBM included Associate Director at the IBM Almaden Research Center, Senior Manager of Advanced Storage Systems, Technical Assistant to the Senior VP and Director of IBM Research, and Manager/Research Staff Member in the Computer Science Department. During their time at IBM, they managed cross-functional projects, led research and development in various areas including web analytics, content management systems, and real-time systems, and spearheaded the creation of technology that resulted in the development of three new IBM products and generated substantial revenues for the company. Moidin began their career as a Research Assistant at Stanford University in 1976.

Moidin Mohiuddin began their education at Stanford University in 1975, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Moidin completed this program in 1977. Subsequently, Moidin Mohiuddin continued their education at Stanford University, focusing on Electrical Engineering again, and obtained a Ph.D. degree in 1982.
