Kayla Burkhead

Kayla Burkhead has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Kayla started their career in 2007 as a Hostess at BJ's Restaurants, Inc. In 2009, they worked as a Marketing Intern at NBC Universal. Moving forward, in 2010, they joined Whitestone Media as a Production Assistant and later became an Assistant Production Manager. In 2013, they worked briefly as an Administrative Aid at CSATF Contract Service Administration Trust Fund before joining Scorpion as a Project Manager. At Scorpion, they advanced to the role of Senior Project Manager in 2019 and then to the position of Director of Creative Development in January 2020.

Kayla Burkhead obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration from The Master's University between 2007 and 2010. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications related to coaching and feedback through LinkedIn. These certifications include "Coaching Skills for Leaders and Managers," "Building a Coaching Culture: Improving Performance Through Timely Feedback," and "Giving and Receiving Feedback." Kayla completed these certifications in September and October of 2020.
