Simon Roberts

Vice President, Head Of Non-clinical Development at Scorpion Therapeutics

Simon Roberts has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having held various leadership roles in major companies. Simon is currently the Vice President and Head of Non-Clinical Development at Scorpion Therapeutics since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at GSK as the Vice President of Non-Clinical Development and Bioanalytical Sciences from 2017 to 2022. Simon also served as the Executive Director of Biotherapeutics at Boehringer Ingelheim from 2012 to 2017, and as the Executive Director of DMPK at AstraZeneca from 2004 to 2012. Before that, they were the Director of DMPK at UCB from 2000 to 2004, and the Associate Director of DMPK at Sanofi from 1988 to 2000.

Simon Roberts earned a B.Sc. (Hons) in Biology, Chemistry, and Toxicology from De Montfort University between 1981 and 1984. Following that, they pursued a PhD in Metabolism and Toxicology from the University of Surrey from 1984 to 1988.
