Omar Abbas

Omar Abbas is the Director of International Corporate and Commercial Banking at Scotiabank since February 2018. Prior to this role, Abbas gained experience as a Senior Corporate Relationship Manager/Team Lead and Senior Manager at Scotiabank. Omar also worked as a Consultant at Deloitte Canada and EY in the financial services sector. Abbas holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Government from Georgetown University and an IB Diploma from the International School of Panama. Omar has been recognized with awards for their outstanding individual performance and as a culture catalyst.
